He is known as the most successful British driver in the history of the sport. He was so proud and grateful after the British Grand Prix win. The circuit has a lap length of 5.891 Km. A lap record time of 1 min 30.621 secs was set by Hamilton during the 2017 British Grand Prix. The race length is set at 306.198 km (190.263 miles), which is 52 laps of the circuit. Silverstone was full of surprises. The focus was more on England and Austria. Ferrari and Red Bull have been closer to the wins. But Mercedes did not give up. Valtteri Bottas came second in the race, but for him, the race is not over yet. He said: “The championship fight is still on. I am chasing but there are so many races to go. It is a lot up to me and my performance and every single opportunity I need to get those and if I don't Lewis is going to be far away.
Despite the other competitors that raced, Lewis Hamilton surely deserves the title. Being a five-time World Champion at 34 years old is quite impressive.
