The book symbol works as both the game’s Wild and Scatter symbol on the reels. When the book symbol is a Wild, the book replaces all regular paying symbols and also pays 200x your bet for 5 on a winline.

The Bonus Wheel

If you land at least 3 of the book symbols on the reels in one spin, they will act as Scatter symbols and trigger Bonus Spins on the Bonus Wheel. You’ll be transported from the base game to the top of an Aztec pyramid where the Bonus Wheel will appear. There are 3 tiers that make up the wheel. The outermost wheel will spin first and determine your special expanding symbol. You will need to land on a golden symbol for the middle tier wheel to spin. The middle wheel can award you between 2 to 15 extra free spins, on top of the 8 spins you get at the beginning. Then you will need to land on a golden symbol again to be able to spin the innermost tier wheel. The innermost wheel decides which symbol will be taken away for the duration of the bonus round. If you retrigger the bonus round with 3 new book Scatter symbols, you get another spin on the Bonus Wheel. You can therefore add multiple expanding symbols to the mix, getting even more extra spins and removing multiple symbols. To create a win, the special expanding symbols don’t need to land adjacent on the reels, but you will need at least 3 royals or 2 premiums to activate the expanding effect.
